XSI Cuts the First Piece of Steel Plate for its 2nd 2100 CEU PCTC.

10:30 am August 18, 2015, XSI held the Steel Cutting Ceremony for its 2nd 2100CEU PCTC (Hull No. 466B) at the workshop. Over 50 representatives, guests attended the ceremony. 10:58 am representative from ship owner pressed the “open” button of steel cutting machine, started the construction of the 2nd 2100CEU PCTC. Up to the present, XSI has started the construction for 27 PCTCs.

Length overall of the ship is 141.20 meters, Length between Perpendiculars is 129.60 meters, Breadth Molded is 24.40 meters, Designed Draft is 6.00 meters, Service Speed is not less than 16.00 knots. Totally, the ship has 9 cargo decks with total area of about 18,000 Square Meters. The total loading capacity is about 2100 cars. The ship is XSI’s new product after 4900CEU PCTC and 8500CEU PCTC. XSI signed the Shipbuilding Contract for the ship on April 16, 2015. Due to the cordial teamwork and positive coordination in XSI, steel cutting of the ship has been carried out as scheduled.

he Vessel is highly automated and has word-wide leading technologies. It’s the first of a totally new type of offshore engineering ships for XSI, even for Fujian Province.
