In the morning of May 25th 2016, the ceremony for the naming of the fourth world largest PCTC (462D) for European ship owner have been successfully hold in XSI 3rd production site.
Mrs Hanne Siri Dahl. the lady sponser of 462D, her husband Mr Sebjørn Dahl, Mr. Ingar Skiaker, CEO of HOGEN Autoliners, Mr. Lars Børresen, the Norway’s Deputy Consul-General in Guangzhou, Mr Jan Rune Mørken, Head of Newbuildings from ship owner’s headquarters, Mr. Li Yongzhong the chief accountant of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd., and other more than 100 guests, leader, representative from domestic and foreign country attended the ceremony.
        Before the ceremony, a percussion organized by XSI staffs performed the opening show, after that a Chinese traditional lion dancing was performed. At 10 a.m. the ceremony formally started, and the vice GM, Mr. Zhang Tao acted as the emcee. After raising the national flag of both sides, speeches were made separately by XSI secretary of the party committee, XSI president Mr. Li Zhenjun and the CEO of HOGEN Autoliners Mr.I ngarSkiaker.
        After exchanging souvenirs, Mr. Li Yongzhong the chief accountant of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd., Mrs Hanne Siri Dahl, the lady sponser, Mr Sebjørn Dahl and other 8 guests cut the ribbon for the new ship together.
In the ceremony, the lady Sponser, Mrs Hanne Siri Dahl named the fourth 8500PCTC (462C) as “Hoegh Trapper” formally and threw a bottle of champagne for the ship. Then Mr. IngarSkiaker donated 10,000.00 dollars to the “love foundation” of our company presenting the acknowledgement to our company. XSI vice secretary of the party committee, secretary of discipline inspection commission, chairman of labor union, Mrs Wang Xiaoxia received the donation as the representative of all company staff. Mr. IngarSkiaker also gave souvenirs to staff representatives from different apartments of the company, presenting the acknowledgement to their efforts. After the ceremony, guests and leaders took a picture before the ship and then took a visit on board separately by 35 cars.
“Hoegh Trapper” is the fourth one of this series of ships, it represents the highest ability of large PCTC design and construction, it also shows the shipbuilding ability of our company.
        Till now, a total of 27 PCTC project have been started in XSI, 22 of which have been successfully named. XSI is in the lead of PCTC construction in China.
